An 18 year-old single malt whisky from the Glen Elgin distillery (76% of the vatting) combined with a single cask of 21 year-old grain whisky distilled at Port Dundas (24%).

N: Almost gin like juniper qualities to begin with, then a rather spicy malt. Really nice and unique nose.

 

P: Spicy is the key word here. The juniper is more muted than on the nose but still there, but now it is joined by pine and some very grassy malt.

 

F: Vaguely spicy.
