Nose is nearly non-existant, difficult to detect faint waves of cinnamon and oatmeal. Smooth, weak body. Finish is the only interesting part, smoke and spice comes rolling in in a pleasant wave.
n: faint nose of light smoke (like burnt paper), more of breakfast oatmeal with black raisins. I get a hint of vanilla and a light malty citrus wax.
t: Sweet wet grass with some dry wood smoke. This does have a nice oily mouthfeel and an easy to drink sweet taste. Middle is back to the waxed citrus. Finishes with wood char and hint of burnt butter.
A thin oil mouthfeel that quickly developes into a one dimensional hit of peat that clearly deviates from the scottish tradition. Not necessarily in a good way, but it's fine to drink.
