Nose:  Big fruit, pears.

 

Palate:  Sweet and malty.

 

Finish:  Mostly fruity.

 

Good but pretty one dimensional.

N: Sweet powdered sugar,, dry hay, minerals and fruits

P: Red and green apples, pears

F: Lightly salted

 

Retaste 10-2012

N: Gummy sweetness, cherry candy and dry wood

P: Green grapes, hint of sherry fruit, tart and tangy

 

Retasted to take notes thinking I hadn't reviewed it.  I was kind of disappointed with it.  B

N: Butter and nuts, sweet nectar
P: Vanilla and nougat, a tad of coconut. Lots of fruit starts to emerge,
F: Plenty of wood spice finishes things off. Sweetness and spice nicely balanced.
