Palate: Dry sherry, water adds some depth and a bit of sulphur.
Finish: vanilla.
This is the one I most wanted to return to throught the tasting and the one that stood up best to the others, particularly the other sherried malts. It showed more complexity and depth within the sherry. In retrospect, it shouldn't have been surprising that it was a Glenfarclas.
N: Meaty sherry with a bit of rancio. P: Wow, huge and fruity sherry with some purple notes. Lots of wood resin. F: Long, long, long. Rather tannic at the end, bringing it down a notch for me.
