N: Gummy bears, eucalyptus, grass, ferric mineral notes, cherry licorice, and crushed nuts
P: Dried fruits (necatrines), nuttiness and a spiced finish
n: Watermelon or cherry jolly rancher
p: Apricot and band-aid. Musty.
Nose: Sweet, fruity nose, very similar to other non-sherried Springers.
Palate: Sweet cereal grains, lots of malt, with enough strength to give it some decent complexity.
Finish: Some surprising salty notes in the finish which leave you thinking this has a good bit of character. Then Ovaltine.
N: Bittersweet - sherried, yet bitter. Earthy.
P: Berries, but smoked.
F: Lingers nicely
Really good, but hard to put my finger on the flavors - complex.
