Candy-sherry nose of figs, dates, etc. Big chocolate and toffee. And beef jerky. Some coffe and varnish/glue in the background.

Oh yeah, gotta love the flavor. Yum!! Unmistakably sherried, medium-sweet, with some nice leathery stuff and Earl Grey tea. No sulfur, or cousins of it. Pure goodness. Rosewater. Deliciousness.

The requisite spice moves to the front in the finish, in a slow fade. Is that smoke??

An excellent sherried specimen with some unexpected nuances. Extremely drinkable yet still big and full. I love it. Buy this now!  A-/A

Sku

Nose:  Yeah, sherry, a bit of mildew (but not in a bad way)
Palate:  Sherry and light peat.
Finish:  Wood, sherry and wisps of peat, ending in light smoke.

A very nice one.  The hint of smoke really adds to it.
Chris

N: Smells medicinal, with leather notes (oiled baseball mitt), and then sweet nectar.
P: Bright and fruity sherry, extremely concentrated but not in an overly sweet kind of way.   Cherry and citrus.
F:  Thick and chewy with lingering spice.
Top notch stuff.   Very balanced with the nose, palate, and finish all telling the same great story.
Fuji

N: Wow! Hello Sherry.  Theres also wood, ripe cherries and citrus zest

P: Mentholated sherry, black berries, prunes

F: Varnish and a whiff of peat

This is great stuff!  A-/A

Andy

n:  Fantastic.  Just classic heavy sherry.
p: Butterscotch and cedar in a forest.  Nice mouthfeel - thick.
Kevin

N: Fruity & floral. Yum

P: Thick & sherried. Very complex. There's peat towards the end that moves through the finish.

F: Comes on strong. Is as complex as the palate.

Really like the complexity - how it switches from sherry to peat so drastically.

Ries

n: Dry, dark and an ancient musk. Cocoa and dried strawberries. Vanilla malts.

t: Intense aged wood, sweet and complex musk profile, like an old bookstore with potpourri. Blanched strawberries. Oily and sophisticated with a tease of smoke. Straightforward but sophisticated in the wood profile.
