Nose: Lots going on - Corn syrup, vanilla, candy corn, spice cake, citrus and chocolate.
Palate: Sweet with lots of vanilla, vanilla ice cream, smooth mouthfeel. Great balance of wood and sweet notes. Maybe not as much going on as in the nose, but full of flavor.
A very soft and rounded nose. Candied plums, pears, cinamon, black peppers and exotic wood. Tart limes and lots of spices on the palate with a medium finish.
N: Rich rancio notes, leather and wood polish, a little milk chocolate. P: Well now, there's that familiar wacky of these old fitz's, lots of raisins, dark fruits, and resin. Almost has a sherried type profile (but of course not). F: Lots of chew, very huge long finish. Figs.
