Private bottling for Diageo staff in 2005, "In recognition of the exceptional contribution of all employees in Spirit Supply Scotland... whiskies from Diageo's 27 malt & 2 grain distilleries."
N: Kinda woody, with a little port-like spice, bacon, and burnt sawdust. P: Sweet and sherried but also quite smokey for a blend. No distinctive grainy tastes, I'd guess this is a very high percentage of malt, why would the directors go cheap on themselves! F: A bit of dry fruit.
Okay, you see the description of what's in this malt? Yep, that's what it pretty much tastes like. Blendy and inoffensive, sweet and watery. I like it, it's very drinkable and hard not to like.
