Nose:  Big and spicy, almost rye whiskey like.
Palate:  This is crazy stuff.  Tasting blind I would probably have guessed that it was a rye.  It has huge rye spice flavors, lots of oak, pine and other wood.  Very dry.

This is crazy stuff, totally unique and unexpected for a single malt.  Maybe a bit too woody, but otherwise, very good and really fun.

A lot of the guys are loving this malt... I like it, but not to the extent they do.

Nose of reduced white wine, citrus. Palate is quite fruity, and really bourbony. Strangely so... a kind of light bourbon... and the type that if it were actually a bourbon, I wouldn't be crazy about it.

But still, really interesting stuff that I'm interested to learn more about, and definitely one to taste.  B/B-

N: Very woody and resinous.
P: What the?  Weird.  Not much up front, but an explosion of spice emerges.   Flowery, dry, great mouth feel.  Wood sap.
F: This is hella woody but really good too!   Totally unexpected, hats off to Diageo for bottling this, a cool addition to this line-up.
[Later in the night, someone presented me a side-by-side of this and an American rye. The similarities were remarkable.]

n: Light rye on bourbon
