This has a beautiful nose with light sherry or port and lots of floral notes. On the tongue it gives sweet sherry with some oily notes. The finish is mostly sherry but has some nutty characteristics as well. Very nice stuff. B/B+
Nose of coconuts and pineapple, with some spoiled white wine. Big fruits in the palate, yum! At the meeting that featured this, I spent a lot of time with the bottle -- it was one of those that I enjoyed so much, I didn't want to be distracted by taking notes. So yeah, there you go. Unusual and surprising stuff. B+/A-
N: Smells a bit like Glenrothes (or more the over-ripe fruity nose I associate with Glenrothes). Some Fig Newton sherry notes. P: Sweet, oily, strong nutty profile. I can see how this would make a nice component for blends, its fairly unique. F: Some wood now, slightly tannic.
