N: Lemon, olive oil (really), organic, zesty.
P: This is f**king awesome. [Would love to see that quoted on a shelf talker] Super exotic and powerful spice, then purple fruits and caramel candies (like Werther's Original).
F: Resinous and nutty, hazelnut.
Yeah, that's a winner.

Fruit candy - apple jolly ranchers on the nose.  Really great nose!

Sweet honey and fruity bubblegum palate.  Fabulous.

Finish.  A bit disappointing as it was a hit & Run.  With a longer finish this would have been a solid A.

Nose:  Rich, sweet, fruit notes.  Apricot jam.  Really beautiful nose.

Palate:  Sweet fruit notes with oak coming on mid-palate.  Really well balanced and pretty unique.

Just delicious.

Wow, the nose! Mulling spices and salty matzoh ball soup. I've been smelling that in a couple other whiskies lately, and I have no idea why... sort of that smell of brine-y chicken stock.

Palate is delicious and rather sweet for the age. Fruity stuff. The label mentions strawberries, and they're definitely in here -- not strongly -- but they're here, garden-fresh strawberries that continue through the finish... which gets herbal. More to reveal on every sip, cinnamon, lavender, bay leaves, oregano... all restrained, but there and delicious.  Excellent!
