I don't think I've tried enough of these American new makes to be able to really distinguish much about them -- other than the fact that they are immediately identifiable as being what they are. It's a very particular nose and taste, which I do like. This one hit me mostly with a cocoa-like aspect that seemed to particularly linger in the finish.

NOTE:  2014 46% ABV version tasted

n: Rotten peaches or fruit in some stage of don't eat. Strange chemical smell, like one of those old flammable Halloween constumes (yay ‘70s)

p: Molten toy rubber. Pumpkin spice or am I still thinking of trick or treatin'?

Actually this is enjoyable. I had it in a lineup of white dogs and this won hands down, which is like gold at the Special Olympics, but still...
