N: A bit strange but not offensive, like...caramels and tomato sauce.
P: Really takes off on the palate with a fruity apple attack, like a very weak Glenlivet 12.
F:  Fades quickly.
For the price, this stuff ain't half bad.   It doesn't have much going on, but they seem to have chosen their grain whisky well to achieve that effect.

There once was a blend from Dunlivet,

A place that nobody can visit.

Though some say it sucks

It's only eight bucks

But that's not a virtue now is it?

Nose of caramel, caramel, something orangey-farty, with alcohol, and light floral notes. Palate's not entirely terrible but not that good either.  Caramel, vague citrus, some chocolate and light zingy spice. Alcoholy stuff takes over in the finish, but not as badly as you might expect from an $8 bottle of scotch. The flavors in here (those aside from the boozy stuff) remind me strongly of today's younger Glenrothes bottlings… which I am not a big fan of.

What's most surprising here is that this isn't entirely undrinkable… it's just hard to drink much of.

bad peach moonshine.  Mostly worthless.

Dunlivet is quite a bad blend

It smells like a monkey's rear end

My tongue did it spank

When I foolishly drank

Truly this booze doth offend
