One of the good guys. Excellent prices for the most part (and never a ripoff), good selection.

As I live just down the hill from this place, I seem to be there a lot. And I'm lucky because they have a great selection of scotch and other whiskies. Lots of independent bottlings (mostly Signatory), and prices that compete with and sometimes beat Wine and Liquor Depot -- but sometimes they are about 7-10% more than other places. Selection is more the draw than being the absolute best price. Not as large a selection as WLD, but pretty close. It's worth comparing online with anywhere else before you buy. They give little reason to leave Pasadena to get a good bottle of whisky.
